The dog is a beagle mix and has been at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society since it was a pup. The dog was left in the woods and has been with the shelter since November 2016. The dog doesn’t get the attention of potential adopters because unlike other dogs, this one stays in the corner and looks really worried. It is believed that the dog had a fearful past and despite the dog being sweet, he doesn’t get to showcase that to other people because of its wariness around others.
The staff at the humane society said that the dog loves being outside especially when he runs around the yard and plays with toys. They hope that someone who could match this dog’s personality will come forward and adopt the dog. The staff also noted that the dog will do bet with a family that is active and has another dog.
