In DeLand Florida, a dog was about to lose its life because of the injuries it sustained from allegedly being hit by a car. Fortunately, a local animal activist helped made son arrangements to save the doggo’s life.
– A dog is believed to have been hit by a car.
– The dog’s back leg had to be amputated.
– The family could not afford it but thanks to a local animal activist…
The dog owners did not know what really happened but they suspected that the dog got run over. The dog owners took the doggo to a local animal lover named Charlotte Walling and she helped them take the animal in for medical assistance. When the vets looked at the dog, the back leg bone was severed. If the dog’s leg would not be operated on, the dog could die from an infection or it could be put down. The problem was that the dog owners could not afford the surgery.
Walling then made some calls and later brought the dog owners to Volusia County Animal Services. They operated on the dog without any cost.
The family was very thankful because their doggo brought so much happiness to their lives after they lost their first dog, Marley, to a snake bite.
