The dog was left there in freezing temperatures so it was taken to an animal hospital because the dog was hypothermic, severely dehydrated, and unresponsive. Recently, the dog was taken back to the hospital again because of an emergency blockage in its stomach. The vet that worked on the dog added that the animal may also be suffering from pneumonia. Per the recent update, the dog is not looking so well right now but they are hoping for the best.
For now, the dog is under close supervision. The Louisville Metro Animal Shelter is still looking for the owners who abandoned the dog. If anyone has information, you may contact the shelter.
