A doggo was spotted by passersby near a KFC in the Southport area. Police have then issued a hot weather warning, which could be dangerous to doggos being left inside vehicle.

A citizen posted a photo of the doggo on social media and so many have commented and expressed their concern over the welfare of the animal. Eventually, someone managed to get the doggo out of the car but Devon and Cornwall Police, as well as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), have released a statement saying that dog and other pet owners should not leave their doggos inside their cars because of the very warm weather. They also said they expect the weather to be hotter these coming days.
