Accordingly, this behavior of dogs was inherited many years ago. The American Kennel Club said that hoarding is an instinctive behavior.
In the past, dogs did not have a lot of food to eat. If they find enough food, they would bury it so they could eat it again later.
But what if your dog hoards your own things? It is possible that he thinks they are toys or your dog just wants to grab it so you can give him or her some attention.
