The dog was found by Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue and they weren’t sure initially what the gender of the dog is since she was so thin and covered with wounds. Also, the dog was not that welcoming when rescuers tried to get her. She was cowering in fear so it is believed that the dog was formerly abused and neglected.

Eventually, the officers with Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue earned the dog’s trust and immediately took her to a veterinary hospital. It is unclear how much will be the medical costs for the dog.
