– The dog chased a rabbit when it got stuck in the pipe.

The incident took place at a park in Secaucus, New Jersey. The doggo involved is a dachshund named Khaleesi. Accordingly, the dog owner was training the doggo when the dog chased a rabbit. The dog was wearing a transmitter collar so she was located immediately but the problem was how to get the dog out. Firefighters were called in the area on Saturday afternoon but the rescue lasted for almost 24 hours because of an issue regarding a retaining wall.
The dog owner and the rescuers had to leave the dog there before they could resume with the rescue operation the next day. Eventually, firefighters were able to dig out the pipe and were successful in removing the dog.
