Shootings aren’t at all safe whether it be a police-related one. A dog from Queens, New York is recovering from the injuries it sustained after being caught in police-involved shooting.
– Two dogs were reportedly on the loose.
– One of the two dogs charged at one of the police officers who were called to track the two dogs down.
– The dog who attacked the officer received one injury to its leg after it was shot.
The incident took place on Thursday morning in Brookville Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue.
Accordingly, the police were responding to an emergency call regarding two vicious dogs that have gone loose.
When the authorities arrived, one of the dogs charged towards one of the deployed police officers. The police then discharged his weapon and shot the dog in the leg.
The dog did not receive serious injuries but is now being treated for the shot. The dog owners have not yet commented on the matter.
