A doggo was found in Samoa and it was seriously injured. The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) just offered a reward amounting to $5,000 to anyone who can give information that would lead to an arrest in the animal cruelty case.
– A dog was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
– The dog had to be euthanized because of its injuries.
– PETA just offered…
The dog was found by a Good Samaritan last Tuesday and called the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The dog was a mastiff mix and was 70 pounds. The dog did not have a collar and was not microchipped. She also did not match any descriptions of missing doggos in the area.
The dog had several gunshot wounds and had to be euthanized because of the extent of the injuries. An investigation started after the dog died.
In a statement by PETA Vice President Colleen O’ Brien, she shared, “This dog must have been terrified when she was left to suffer in agony from gunshot wounds, abandoned and alone on the dunes. PETA joins the sheriff’s office in urging anyone who recognizes this dog to come forward immediately before anyone else gets hurt.”
