Dr. Pete VanVranken is a Battle Creek veterinarian who has been an advocate for proper care of animals has started a new campaign to make people aware of the amount of copper found inside animals.
All this started when his beloved dog Cookie developed hepatitis and tests revealed that there was a lot of copper inside the body.
His research showed that there was a high content of copper available in the dog food. He hopes that his initiative will help people become more aware about the content and quality of food that they give to their pets.
He has been working to make companies realize the fatal side effects of copper sulfate in dog food, and completely eliminate it from the food.
