Dogs can get in a lot of trouble especially if they are walked off leash. That was what exactly happened when a Jack Russell named Mitzi disappeared down a foxhole.
– A dog went walking with its owner when it was chased by another dog.
– The dog fell into a foxhole.
– The dog owner initially thought the dog was just missing but a dog walker called them and said…
Accordingly, the dog was being walked by its owner somewhere in Knighton Wood in Essex last week. The dog was then chased by another doggo and disappeared. Initially, the dog owner the thought was just missing and could not find its way back home. However, they later found out that the dog was stuck in the foxhole for days. The dog owner even handed out leaflets showing the photo of the dog and that a cash reward is being offered to anyone who can bring the doggo back.
Days later, they found a call from another dog walker. Her dog has been sniffing around a foxhole so it was possible that the Jack Russell was there. The dog owner then brought some of the toys of Mitzi and when he squeaked them, the dog whimpered faintly. The dog owner and some passersby tried to dig the dog out of the hole. The operation lasted for two hours.
When the dog owner was reunited with the doggo, the dog owner became very emotional that he even cried and clutched the dog to his chest. The dog was taken to a vet and has been cleared from any infection or injury.
