A dog owner lost her doggo eight years ago. With the help of the dog’s microchip, the doggo and the dog owner were recently reunited.

According to reports, an animal control officer and some people tracked down the owner of the doggo named Oreo. Knox County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee said that the dog owner never thought she would see Oreo again but all thanks to her microchipping the doggo, their reunion was made possible. The Sheriff’s Office was also responsible in releasing the doggo to the dog owner. It could be seen in the photos posted by the Sheriff’s Office that both the dog owner and the doggo are happy with the reunion.
The circumstances regarding the dog missing back in 2011 and how the doggo was found is unclear.
