– The dog was found dead inside a vehicle after it was left there by the man.
The dog owner shared that his friend, Javier Franco, volunteered to dog-sit the doggo for three days. The dog owner and his girlfriend were on separate trips out of the country so no one would look after their doggo. Later, they got a call saying that the doggo was in the pound. However, that was not the truth because the dog sitter ran out of gas so he abandoned the vehicle and left the doggo inside the hot car and it eventually died. The man even impersonated the dog owner when police were investigating the incident.
The dog sitter also allegedly “purposely tied him down so tight that he couldn’t stand up” and it was the possible reason why no one saw the dog inside the vehicle. The dog sitter now faces charges of mistreatment of animals and lying to the cops.
