– A dog owner died because of getting lost in the snow.
– The dog owner’s doggo was found with the human.
– The doggo is said to be in shock and has a broken heart.
The incident took place in Forest Hill, California. The dog owner was identified as 69-year-old David Deshon. Accordingly, he was reported missing two days before he was found. The family believed that Deshon’s car got stuck so he tried to hike home. However, it seemed like he retreated. The body was found 100 yards from a neighbor’s home. One of the doggos of Deshon, Baby Dog, was spotted laying on the chest of the human to help keep him warm.
The dog was also protective of his owner. He did not allow rescuers, the sheriff, and even the family of Deshon to go near them when they were found. Eventually, the dog allowed them to. The doggo was taken to an animal services facility together with the other doggo of Deshon.
Accordingly, Baby Dog is very shocked right now and suffers from a broken heart. The daughter of Deshon said that she might take Baby Dog because “he is part of my dad now.” As for the other doggo, Buddy, he will have to be re-homed because the daughter cannot take on the responsibility over two doggos.
