The dog owners are from Santa Clara, California and the dog, a Shiba Inu, was taken to Bay Area K9 Association, a training facility, to be boarded for one weekend last May. Their two dogs were placed under their care and later, the dog owners received an update saying two of their dogs got in a fight. The dog trainer reassured them the dogs just suffered minor injuries but hours later, one of them died.
The dog owners claim that the dogs never fought with one another so they are puzzled at how things ended. Per the necropsy done on the dog, the doggo died due to hemorrhage and congestion secondary to shock. The dog owners are still asking for questions and they remain unanswered.
