At the Cincinnati Zoo, a doggo and a cheetah became best buds. Photos of the two have circulated online and is creating a buzz.
– A dog and a cheetah are best buds at the Cincinnati Zoo.
– This is the seventh time that such animals have been paired.
– The cheetah was the only cub that survived…
Accordingly, the Cheetah was born last July 7 and was the only one who survived out of the three cubs. The momma cheetah was not able to produce enough milk to sustain the cub and the staff worried that the momma cheetah will abandon the cub. They then got the cheetah and decided to let it live with the doggo at the zoo so it could serve as a role model. The dog will teach the cheetah some social responsibilities like disciplining, playing, and snuggling. However, that dog already retired so the cheetah is with a new doggo named Remus. Remus is just a month older than Kris the Cheetah.
The dog and the cheetah do not seem to mind that they are different. They play together, run around, and do many things that best friends do.
This is the seventh time that a dog and a cheetah has been paired. The zoo has had the program for a long time already because dogs can communicate with cheetahs easily. The time will come that the two will have to be separated but for now, they will remain as best buds.
