In Chesapeake, Maryland, a fire broke out in a home. No one was injured but a dog and two cats died due to the fire.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal confirmed the news over the weekend and said that the owner of the home discovered the fire at around 7 P.M. The fire department then responded and went to the home to put the fire out. Officials had to work for an hour to get the fire under control. It is unclear what caused the fire and it is now under investigation. Officials noted, however, that the fire began in the attic space.
It is estimated that the loss is a total of $100,000.
