A senior dog was diagnosed with cancer and has been living at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in Virginia. It is believed that the dog has only six months to live so they made a bucket list for the dog.
– A dog was diagnosed with cancer.
– The dog was given six months to live.
– The staff at the shelter where the dog lives made a bucket list and they recently crossed one off.
One of the items on the dog’s list is to find a forever home and just recently, that item was crossed off from the list. The president of the shelter said that the dog was adopted by a loving family that has experience with senior rescue dogs. The new owners of the dog will continue granting some of the wishes listed in the dog’s bucket list.
Just last week, the dog went to Nationals Park, ate some ice cream, walked around the field, and many more. He also rode a police car during his visit at the Arlington County Police Department.
