The dog is an American bulldog and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) officials were able to rescue the dog in time. The dog was barely conscious when found in the bath of the dog owner’s home in Keighley, West Yorkshire. After the dog was taken to a veterinary clinic, it was found out that the dog had two large wounds on her head, she had some bruise, had a loose tooth, and her eyes had to be flushed because of the cleaning products.
The dog owner was then charged and was supposed to appear in court days ago but failed to do so. The dog owner was then arrested and sentenced.
The dog is now recovering and will soon be up for adoption.
