The dog owner, Bridget Wall, usually gets an alert from her doggo, an Australian kelpie named Betsy, when she is about to faint. The dog places its paw on her leg 10 minutes before she faints. This way, the dog owner could find a safe place where she can lie down. Wall has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and she shared, “Everyone’s body has collagen which is their body’s glue and holds everything together – but while most people’s collagen is like superglue, mine is like the glue stick you get in Kindy.”
The dog owner said that she once was too scared to go out in public because she frequently passed out. When she got her dog, she was more confident to experience life despite her condition.
