Accordingly, the dog owner is now devastated. He was gone for seven hours and the police took his doggo, a border collie named Alfie, to PetMedics. The dog was then checked and its microchip was scanned. The dog was registered to the ex-girlfriend of the dog owner and when she was called up, she allegedly told them to put the dog up for adoption. The ex-girlfriend denies this and is as shocked about what happened to the dog.
It is unclear where the dog is now but the dog owner is fighting to get his doggo back. The dog owner shared that it’s been difficulty especially because he suffers with mental health problems. The dog “has been a big support to me” and it’s been difficult that the doggo has been away from him for days now.
Reportedly, the dog owner was told that the only way to get his dog back is to take the matter to court.
