An abandoned doggo was spotted tied to a tree at Norwalk, Connecticut. The dog’s former owner attached a note on the doggo’s collar and it said, “Please help.”

The dog was left in a city park last Friday and reports about the doggo were made on Monday. The dog has no identification and is not chipped. The dog was taken to a local animal shelter. The dog is said to be a pitbull mix and per the note, she is three years old and her name is Annabel. The dog’s shots are up-to-date and the dog owner claimed she is a sweetheart. The dog owner added on the last part, “Couldn’t afford her. Please help.”
In Connecticut, it is illegal to abandon doggos and other animals. It is unclear if the dog owner was tracked down. It is also unclear if the doggo is now adoptable.
