Accordingly, the dog, a Doberman-hound mix, has been at the Flagler Humane Society since February 27 last year. The dog owner, identified as Dottye Benton, has been fighting to save her doggo but that might be far from happening because the dog will possibly be put down over the weekend. The dog owner’s appeal to the district court was recently dismissed thus there is no way to stop the euthanizing of the doggo named Cooper.
The dog owner was not even fighting to get her dog back. She was asking that her dog be spared from being put down and taken to a rescue range for dangerous doggos. It is unclear if there will be any change soon.
