The doggo, a four-year-old golden retriever, is one of the five trained avalanche rescue doggos. Usually, the dog just spends his day in the ski patrol duty stations. Later in the day, the doggo practices his skills in order to perform his job better. Usually, people are buried intentionally in the snow in order for dogs to find actual people. Accordingly, the human scent saturates through the snow so dogs use their sense of smell to find these people.
Aside from doing his job, the doggo also likes interacting with humans. He usually smiles, rolls in the snow, and licks the hands of visitors in the area.
