To avoid that from happening to your dog, do not feed them apricot because the stones from it could be deadly to your dog. Berries could also cause an upset stomach and loss of balance for your dog.
Even if your dog gives you the puppy eyes, do not feed them Christmas cake or Christmas pudding, chocolate, alcohol, sugar free sweet and mints, and cooked bones.
It is advised that dog owners should keep a list of numbers of different veterinarians in case the first number called is closed on Christmas day.
