– One dog has been given the job as the Chief Joy officer.
– The dog is part of the Dogs for Joy program.
– The program is a collaboration between Dunkin Donuts and a charity.
The dog is the first for the Dogs for Joy program, which hopes to provide comfort and companionships to children who are sick and needy in the United States. The charity decided to come up with such program involving doggos because having doggos present in hospitals has been proven to be one of the most impactful ways to improve a patient’s mental and physical health.
Cooper is from Canine Assistants based in Milton, Georgia. The dog goes to work every day at the Dunkin’ Brands headquarters. Hospitals all over the United States may apply for a Dogs for Joy grant if they want an in-residence dog program.
