The family is from Denver and they are asking the community to send cards with comforting words to life the spirits of their doggo. The 14-year-old doggo, a German Shepherd, suffers from dementia and so the dog owners want to make the most out of the dog’s remaining days. The dog owners are very thankful for the dog because one of them suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder while the other suffers from epilepsy. The dog checks on both of them.

The person who is asking for cards is actually the mother of one of the dog owners. She believes the cards will help the dog owners cope with the deteriorating health of the doggo.
