According to the shelter where the dog was surrendered to, the owners did not neuter the other dogs or sought training. Instead, they thought that giving the six-year-old dog up was the solution. However, the lead volunteer at Chicagoland Rescue Intervention & Support Program was volunteering at the shelter that day and fell in love with the dog. The dog is reportedly very sweet and loyal. The dog also likes sitting on laps as a form of showing thank you for the treats and love that the staff are showering him with. The dog is now with a foster family awaiting adoption.
