A brewery in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in Canada is the talk of the town. The brewery is frequented not only by humans but also by doggos. However, an anonymous complaint made the brewery stop accepting doggos.
– Brightwood Brewery once welcomed doggos.
– A complaint made that impossible now.
– The co-owner of the brewery is seeking to…
The brewery is called Brightwood Brewery and it all started with the employees. Employees were allowed to bring their doggos to work. Eventually, customers asked if they could, too. The co-owner of the brewery shared that they figured they have enough space to accommodate dog owners, non-dog lovers and canines. The co-owner shared that he believes dogs are family members and introducing the idea to the community was a hit.
However, a complaint about a doggo at the brewery was filed by an anonymous person. Now, the Brightwood Brewery was given a warning by an inspector. For now, the brewery does not accept doggos inside the establishment.
The co-owner is now leading a campaign regarding dog-friendly businesses. He is fighting for food safety regulations to be amended.
