He was diagnosed with autism and ADHD when he was only two. Clouser is now six years old and he really needs an assistance dog because the boy’s meltdowns have worsened since the start of the pandemic. Clouser usually becomes upset and inconsolable for reasons unknown to his parents.
The family already has dogs and the boy loves them. However, they believe an assistance dog would be better for Clouser although one of their dogs tries to calm the boy down whenever he has meltdowns. The mother shared, “I feel like a trained dog will be that much more beneficial to Chaise. I hope he can assist my son in providing him with the best quality life.”
They then worked with 4 Paws for Ability and they need $18,000 for the assistance dog. If you want to be updated on the raffles and other fundraising events of the family, you can visit their Facebook page called 4 Paws for Chaise. They have already raised $2,000.
