The teenager named Darius Brown said that he started liking dogs when he saw an animal cruelty commercial 10 years ago. Because of that, he started the campaign called Pawsome Mission. Brown shared that he realized that if he used his passion in making bowties, he could help lessen the time that doggos are staying at shelters. What’s more interesting about this is that the teen actually had problems with his motor skills and making the bowties improved Brown’s dexterity.
Over the years, Brown has been commended by personalities like former President Barack Obama and has been given awards. Brown has already visited many animal shelters in seven states in the U.S. to deliver the bowties personally. Recently, he also made mittens for the koalas in Australia.
