A veterinarian is asking for blood donations from big doggos. The donated blood will be used to save other fur babies.
– A veterinarian is asking for blood donors.
– These blood donors must be big doggos and under the age of seven years old.
– Doggos must also be fully vaccinated.
The other requirements for blood donors are they are under the age of seven years, weighs more than 30 kilograms, and are fully vaccinated. Doggos that are more than 30 kilograms barely notice that blood is being taken from them thus such requirement. Doggos should be calm when their blood is being drawn. They should also love going to the vet so it would be easier.
There are not a lot of blood banks in many areas that is why local donor dogs would make a huge difference especially in disease, emergency, and trauma instances. Also, blood is not stored that is why they need dog donors to give fresh blood when necessary. In cases of emergencies, blood is needed within one to two hours or these doggos could die.
Dog blood donors will get free health check, free tick and flea treatment, blood screening, and many more.
