In Morganton, North Carolina, a doggo was trapped down a sinkhole that was 30 feet deep. The dog was saved using a beef jerky.

Accordingly, a group was riding near the Sinkhole Trail when they heard the doggo. It is believed that the dog was stuck in the sinkhole for many days. The bikers then asked for assistance and when rescuers came, they had to use something to entice the doggo so it could be raised to safety. They then decided to use a beef jerky and the rescue was a success.
The dog was not injured from the incident but it was dehydrated and needed to eat food.
The dog is now with the Burke County Animal Services and was given the name Sinker. The dog did not have any collar and was not microchipped. If no one will come forward, the dog will be up for adoption.
