The driver was said to be making deliveries last July 5 when she saw the doggo. The doggo, a two-year-old dachshund went out of their home after the dog owners opened the door. The driver then snatched the doggo. The dog owners were clueless what happened to their doggo but a landscaper reported the incident after having a conversation with the suspect. An arrest warrant was later issued as she was identified with the help of the landscaper and private security footage from the area. Later, the driver turned herself in. The driver claimed that the landscaper was not able to tell her where the doggo is from.
An advertisement on Craigslist about the doggo further proved that the driver indeed snatched the doggo. The dog was being sold for $100. The driver was charged with one count of theft of property.
