A doggo was found covered in mange. Many of the people who worked on the abandoned dog said that it was the worst case of mange they have seen and they initially believed the dog would not make it.

The dog was taken in by the staff at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tauranga Center and they saw that the dog’s skin was already bleeding due to the mange. During the rescue, officers had to use a blanket with a sheet because the blanket was sticking to the bleeding wounds of the animal.
The doggo was then given pain relief medication and medicated baths. Later, the dog’s skin started to look better and his hair eventually grew back. Now, the doggo is up for adoption. The SPCA staff that the dog is very sweet, gentle, and loves cuddles and attention.
The dog was initially found by a Good Samaritan hiding in a bush. The citizen contacted the SPCA to rescue the animal.
