A dog was allegedly stolen by a fake animal rescue volunteer last week and her owners are desperate to finding their dog offering a high reward to anyone who finds it.
– A woman pretended to be an animal rescuer
– She stole a dog from a plaza
– A reward is waiting for anyone who could return the dog
A woman started a hashtag trend on social media called #ReturnToby. This plea is now trending on the internet since last week after a woman allegedly impersonated an animal rescue volunteer and ran away with a dog named Toby in Scarborough plaza.
The dog was supposed to be transferred to an animal shelter so that the dog could be admitted for foster care but Toby never made it to the place. Witnesses said the impersonator was a young woman with long brown hair who wore a blue print maxi dress and pink sweater. She was seen leaving the plaza in a dark Hyundai SUV.
The owner and organization offers $3000 as a reward to anyone who could return the dog.
