Restaurant owners in South Korea’s Pyeongchang County refused to take out dog meat from their menu.
This comes after officials have requested them to do so while the Winter Olympics is ongoing in the country. Ten out of 12 restaurants in the area that serve dog meat dishes have complied with the request.
Officials in the area wanted restaurants to stop serving dog meat because they wanted a more Westernized food options for the athletes and other visitors visiting the country.
